Hello everyone!
I’m sorry I haven’t posted in a while but I have been SO busy with my university work, normal work and well having a life really!
So in light of me finishing up my masters and returning to the office full time, I decided to write a blog about work wear! Yay, everyone loves work right?! No, they don’t! But at least you can look good whilst you’re moaning at your office desk.
So without further ado, here are some of my favourite picks:
- This Lovedrobe pink shift dress was a bargain at £8 in the Evans sale and I’ve teamed it with some thick black tights complete with a pair of sole diva fringe loafers from Simply Be. However, you can also wear this with a pair of heels if you want to make it really smart. To finish off the look I have put a Black smart workwear blazer with it, again also from Evans.
2. This Simply Be gingham check skater dress looked really summery when I saw it but I think you can make this into a nice wintery outfit to wear to the office and even to wear out afterwards! I’ve teamed this again with some thick black tights, a plain black belt from Primark and some white New Look shoes.
3. I’m not too sure about this Lovedobe print dress from Simply Be. I think it is a lovely dress and it would great again wearing it to the office but also for an evening out. However, I think this one would have to be a grower on me as the cut out bit on the front is slightly off putting for me. But nonetheless, this is a great dress for a great price! Only £21 in the sale right now!
4. OK so you must be slightly bored of dresses now. So let’s move on to trousers! This fourth look features some navy pear fit wide leg trousers from Evans. These are in the short leg as well as you can see from the images, I’m not exactly the tallest person! But they do come in regular size as well as regular. These trousers are great because they have an elasticated waste at the back and they are pull on so no faffing around with any zips or buttons! I am wearing them with a top from Next which is last year’s range, but a similar one can be found here. The brown shoes are from Primark.
5. And finally, you can’t go wrong with a good pair of black trousers. These ones are from Matalan’s Rogers and Rogers range. They are really worth the money and they have pockets! Praise the lord for women’s trousers that have pockets! I have teamed these with a simple top from Primark complete with little wedges from George @ ASDA. Again both of these products are last year’s range. The jacket is the same one earlier on from Evans.
