So following on from my post about recently attending a family party… I just wanted to write a little post about the outfit I wore that night!

I have been eyeing up Voodoo Vixen dresses for AGES but I just couldn’t make the commitment to buy one as some are nearly £60! However, I was searching through the sale option on Simply Be’s website and BINGO. This was in the sale at half price!

I couldn’t believe my eyes and I just had to buy it! I was worried it wouldn’t be true to size so I ordered two different sizes just to be on the safe side. But, I definitely didn’t need to do that! It was true to size, the zip at the back is really well made and it completely nips you in where it’s supposed to!

The only thing I’d say is a slight downside for me personally, was the bust. It is pretty big on me around there so I had that readjusted so it wasn’t gaping. But other than that, it was a great buy! I can definitely see myself wearing this in the future for other events such as weddings or parties! I also think that if you were having a vintage themed wedding, then this would make a great bridesmaid dress!
