So who is Sweet 2 the Cheeks?! I love dresses!

Ok so here goes, it’s my first post as a Fashion and Food Blogger! Now this might be a boring post but I’d thought I’d share with you who I am as a person! Hence why the title is… Who is Sweet 2 the cheeks?! Well I decided to start up this blog as I have a massive passion for fashion. Believe it or not, this passion stemmed from when I was diagnosed with IBS in 2014. Since the diagnosis I have learnt to accept that I cannot eat certain foods and embrace my size whilst living a healthy life cooking fresh food!

Well so as I said, since losing the will to live over trying to be something I’m not, weight wise, I have decided to just embrace who I am and try and lead an active and healthy lifestyle. So here is some of my latest favourite fashion pieces. Oh and by the way, you’ll learn quickly that I LOVE DRESSES!

Ok so this picture features a maxi dress from George @ ASDA last year, complete with an AX Paris Plus Sleeveless Jacket in Rust colour from ASOS Curve. Love this jacket with my maxi dress as it has smarten the whole outfit up whilst also keeping me cool because it is sleeveless. It is also quite stretchy and comes with a self tie waist belt which  Oh and I can’t forget those sunglasses! These are from Primark of course!

OK Choice number 2 of why I LOVE dresses. This dress is also from ASOS Curve and is under the name of ‘Praslin Plus Size Skater Dress With Contrast Band’. Now this does come in another colour, navy, but I felt as it was summer the pink would suit better. But I do like navy so this may be a future purchase! It is made from soft touch jersey so I am slightly worried it will make me hot so on a really hot summer’s day perhaps this isn’t the best dress to be wearing! But defo a good one on the days where it’s not a scorcher in Blighty!

Dress number three is the lovely Club L Plus Skater Dress With Open Neck. This dress has lovely bird print styles on it whilst also giving that dressed up feel being in the colour black. I love this dress from ASOS Curve because it really flatters my body shape whilst also adding a pop of colour. I have teamed this look with my New Look Yellow Patent Wide fit shoes as well (also in Pale Blue!). However, I am unsure about the neckline. It’s quite a low one for me and you definitely cannot wear a bra with this one unless you want it on show! So that is the only thing that makes me feel slightly uncomfortable about wearing this dress. Does anyone have any tips on how to wear dresses like this with a low neckline? I don’t have a clue!

Finally, last but not least is this dress from, you guessed it, ASOS Curve again. The Little Mistress Plus Embroidered Bodice Maxi has stunning detail on the front and would make a great outfit for a wedding on any special occassion. I bought this in mind for my graduation which is in November. However, I don’t really feel like it suits me. The material is quite heavy so this is definitely not something you’d just wear for a night out, it’s got to be a special occasion! I think the reason it doesn’t suit me might be because of my skin tone and hair colour. Perhaps it would suit someone who has olive skin or blonde hair? What are your thoughts and opinions on this one?

So which look is your favourite? Are you a dress lover like me? Let me know and please share with me where you buy your dresses from!
